An automatic satellite system from Oyster Vision was retrofitted three years ago. Signs of age-appropriate wear are present. To the best of my knowledge, all issues are minor and can be remedied even by buyers with limited DIY skills. There is some localised edge rust on the exterior, and the hard plastic bumpers have two non-MOT-relevant cracks. The entrance door is rusty at the bottom. The remainder of the bodywork, as far as I'm aware, is made of GRP and therefore rust-free. No visible moisture ingress during cleaning with a high-pressure washer. Inside, the wet room floor trays have cracks. Otherwise, the interior is in very good condition – typical Karmann quality. With continued good maintenance, the vehicle will be eligible for historic registration in under two years, which will lift the restrictions associated with the yellow emissions sticker and significantly reduce road tax.
