Description
Mercedes-Benz Unimog 416 – Trans Canada Pilot
Your adventure starts here.
The gentleman’s expedition vehicle — now for sale.
If you’re looking for an ordinary motorhome, this is not it. Please move to the next listing.
But if you're after the most stylish off-road tiny home in the world — read on.
The Vehicle – Rugged. Reliable. Ready for the ends of the Earth.
Built on the legendary Mercedes-Benz Unimog 416, this vehicle was originally used by an electric utility and a machine shop before undergoing a complete restoration.
Engine and transmission: original, untouched, perfectly running (as the saying goes, "don’t fix what isn’t broken").
Frame sandblasted, underbody and surface fully repainted.
Every system rebuilt: all pipes, brakes, electrical wiring, and components renewed using genuine Mercedes-Benz parts.
Light and agile — turns like a passenger car, goes where others get stuck.
The Cabin – Not a camper. A luxury micro-hotel on wheels.
This is a factory-built living module crafted by Furgotec Oü in Tartu, Estonia. The full shell was built at their facility and delivered to Finland as a completed unit — not a DIY conversion. Interior finishings were completed in Inkoo, Finland, including a fully rebuilt bed base by a skilled craftsman.
Three core principles guided the build — no compromises allowed:
Healthy sleeping – Large orthopedic mattress on a gas-lift bed. Sleep like home — or better.
Real bathroom – Full standing shower, sink, and gas-heated water — no waiting.
Gourmet kitchen – Four-burner stove, professional knives, electric fridge, wide countertops and panoramic windows.
Other highlights:
Interior height: over 2 meters – stand tall, no crouching
Width: 2.2 meters – spacious for two
Lockable, practical and high-quality cabinetry throughout
Integrated diesel and gas tanks – no jerry cans or propane juggling
Battery system: starter battery + 2 dedicated house batteries
Windows and skylights by Outbound – with insect screens and blackout shades
Over €10,000 invested in premium window systems — so you can admire the view in three directions

Built for the journey. But also to be the destination.
Drive to Lapland. Cross the Alps. Explore the Yukon or Patagonia.
This vehicle was built for off-grid, long-haul life on the road, with no compromises in comfort or quality.
You won’t start your trips by searching for a power outlet or fumbling with gas canisters.
You’ll start them with hot showers, fresh coffee, and the joy of knowing you're truly self-sufficient.
Important Notes:
This is not a factory production model.
It is a unique, handcrafted expedition vehicle, built with years of experience, care, and precision.
Originally intended for a global overland journey — now for sale for the first time.
Are you interested?
See it in person. Fall in love. Drive it home.
Warning: Spontaneous trips to Norway may occur. We take no responsibility for that.
Location: The vehicle is currently located in Inkoo, Finland — approximately one hour west of Helsinki —with viewings by appointment.
The Ultimate Shortcut: Purchase the Cabin Separately Love the module but have your own chassis? The 2026 "Scandinavian Cool" living module is available for €96,000. Avoid the years of waiting for a factory build—this plug-and-play Tiny House is ready for immediate mounting on any off-road platform or even your private land.
