When Westfalia built its first motorhome, the Windrose, in 1951 on behalf of a British officer, the assignment was clear: to create a vehicle that would be practical for daily use as well as for leisure and holidays. The standard set by the engineers over 70 years ago with the SO23 also served as a foundation for the development of the Westfalia Amundsen models.
