DAF T1300 "Frog" recovery vehicle
In January 1963, this DAF T1300 "Kikker" was newly registered on the road in the Netherlands. This DAF was most likely purchased new by Shell and had the original "Shell Yellow" paintwork. Later, this DAF was converted into a recovery vehicle and subsequently used by a small workshop in Brabant. After the death of the original garage owner, his son had the vehicle completely restored. The vehicle has been newly painted in red, and the brakes, vacuum pump, etc. were replaced. This was probably done around the year 2000. The bodywork is operated manually, and the winch is powered via an intermediate shaft. The boom is also extendable, and there is also a manual shovel.
