This unique Mercedes-Benz LF 311 vintage fire truck from 1957 in concours condition is a valuable addition for collectors and classic vehicle enthusiasts. Originally acquired by the plant fire brigade of Chemische Werke Hüls AG in Herne-Wanne. The TroSLF 16 with a Carl Metz body was used as a fire engine designated LF 16-S (special type). With an alternative body, it could carry 560 liters of foam concentrate and 750 kg of powder, making this vehicle particularly versatile. The large loudspeaker on the roof was used for important announcements to plant personnel and the public.
